Tried and Tested by: Mei Ling
Skin Type: Combination, prone to dehydration
Rating: 4.5 / 5

- Pros:
- Contains 7000mg of Marine Collagen, which is higher than the average 5500mg found in most brands
- There’s added Hyaluronic Acid, an ingredient used in many skincare products to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate the skin
- Contains prebiotics for added UV protection
- Unique combination of flavours that tastes really good
- Cons:
- With only 4 servings per box, you’ll need to purchase multiple boxes to stock up for a month’s supply
- Large serving which I sometimes cannot finish drinking
💡 Review: After three weeks, I noticed my skin felt firmer and more radiant, with fewer dry patches. My mom also tried and loved the Lychee flavour, so we decided to split a 16-week bundle. Not only does it save money, but also a wonderful way to bond as we enjoy our nightly beauty routine together. It was honestly so much fun!
💰 Price: $2.35/serving onwards

2. Kinohimitsu Collagen Diamond
Kinohimitsu has long been a leading collagen brand in the market. While they have closed most of their physical stores, they continue to maintain a strong presence online across major e-commerce platforms.
Tried and Tested by: Aiko Tanaka
Skin Type: Dry, sensitive
Rating: 4 / 5

- Pros:
- Contains perilla seed extract, which helps combat free radicals
- Luxurious glass bottle packaging that feels really exquisite
- Cons:
- Only one flavour available
- Glass bottle makes it heavy and fragile to bring about
- Tastes artificially sweet, would not recommend if you don’t have a sweet tooth
💡 Review: I taste the fishiness of the collagen in this, which is understandable as the collagen amount of 5300mg is quite high. However, if you do not enjoy the artificial sweetness of their Lychee flavour, you might not enjoy this one as much. The brightening effects were not as obvious as I had hoped, even after consuming it daily for 30 days.
💰 Price: $2.91/serving onwards
3. Biofinest Collagen
Biofinest is positioned as a functional, no-frills collagen product. With a clean, supplement-style look and straightforward formulation, it’s been gaining popularity online.
Tried and Tested by: Riley Cruz
Skin Type: Oily, acne-prone
Rating: 3.5 / 5

- Pros:
- 5500mg Marine Collagen
- Contains Vitamin C
- Lightweight and easy to carry around
- Cons:
- Pretty unhygienic to drink it from the tip of the packaging
- The taste is also a bit on the artificial side, but less sweet compared to Kinohimitsu’s.
💡 Review: Biofinest has a light, pleasant fruity scent. Effects-wise, I do feel my skin feeling slightly more plump after trying the Biofinest Collagen Beauty. However, the brightening effects are not as great as advertised. It feels somewhat overhyped, especially with influencers praising it—after all, many of them are part of paid partnerships, aren’t they?
💰 Price: $3.00/serving onwards
4. Suntory Liftage Collagen Drink
Most people recognise Suntory as a renowned beverage manufacturer, but they’ve also ventured into the beauty industry with their Suntory Collagen Liftage Drink. I decided to give it a try during my trip to Japan after spotting it on the top-selling shelf in Tokyo.
Tried and Tested by: Aiko Tanaka
Skin Type: Dry, sensitive
Rating: 3.5 / 5

- Pros:
- Feels like an exquisite skincare product
- Lots of scientific ingredients included
- A unique formula that contains Proteoglycans
- Cons:
- Direct from Japan, hence it’s only available for pre-orders mostly on Japanese e-commerce websites
- Glass bottle makes it heavy and fragile to bring about
💡 Review: My skin did feel smoother after drinking it for about 2 weeks, and the white grape flavour tasted less artificial than others I’ve tried. The only downside is that this is way too expensive for daily consumption and I’m not sure if I’m willing to spend >$7 a day on a single serving.
💰 Price: $7.75/serving onwards
5. BPC – EGF Collagen Regeneration Pills
If you haven’t heard of it, BPCXTRA is a skincare brand specialising in anti-aging products. I came across it in Japan and decided to try it after spotting it in the hot-selling section. Although collagen is not its primary ingredient, it features a variety of premium components scientifically proven to support skin health.
Tried and Tested by: Aiko Tanaka
Skin Type: Dry, sensitive
Rating: 3.5 / 5

- Pros:
- Contains lots of scientific ingredients that help promote collagen regeneration, repair skin damage, make the skill full and lift sagging skin.
- Unique packaging that does not look like your usual collagen product
- It’s quite cost-effective, especially since it comes in a convenient pill format.
- Cons:
- Difficult to find in Singapore
- Pills format which makes me feel less motivated to eat, I really hate swallowing pills. But if you can bear that, go for it.
💡 Review: While I can’t actively feel the collagen regeneration, my skin did look brighter than before. I don’t see any lifting or anti-aging effects as of yet after finishing half the box, perhaps more time is needed for consumption to see actual effects.
💰 Price: $1.10/serving onwards
Insights to Keep in Mind
- Formulation Matters: The source of collagen (marine, bovine, or vegan-friendly) significantly impacts absorption and benefits. Marine collagen is typically preferred for skin due to its smaller particle size.
- Additional Ingredients: Look for supplements with are enriched with Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, or Antioxidants for synergistic effects.
- Lifestyle Alignment: Consider factors like convenience (ready-to-drink vs. powders), taste preferences, and targeted benefits (anti-aging, skin hydration, or skin recovery).
